The written deliverable will be in the format of a scientifically written research paper consistent in quality and scope of a typical peer-reviewed journal article in the social sciences—cyberpsychology in particular. An appropriate target journal should be identified by the student working in conjunction with their Chair to facilitate the student’s use of that journal’s typical formatting for the capstone. This would be the only reason to deviate from the capstone manuscript format, as provided in Item 3 of Appendix H. Using the most current version of APA Style and with deviations to occur only with prior approval from the capstone Chair, the finalized written manuscript that has been approved by the Chair must be presented for review to the student’s committee at least two weeks prior to the anticipated presentation date. This deliverable must be in MS Word format and adhere to formatting and layout as identified in Item 3 of Appendix H. Feedback will be provided to the student during the presentation meeting along with any edits to be implemented. Once the student completes all final revisions as communicated to the student (after the oral defense) and all committee members have approved a Pass for the manuscript, final and completed documentation (eg, cover page and manuscript) will be submitted within the designated PSY 690 course area. Note, while it is not required for the student to submit their written manuscript to the academic peer-reviewed journal previously indicated for possible publication, it is highly encouraged for the student to work in conjunction with their Chair (and any committee members) as co-authors for submission of the manuscript for academic peer review. The student shall be named as first author, and subsequent co-authors and authorship order, at the discretion of the student
