When I read your post, it made me think of chapter 1 in our Fitzpatrick text. There is a portion of the chapter that discusses “authentic presence and caring leadership comportment”.
What are the three elements of the caring leadership comportment and are you able to share an example of each of them that the manager you mentioned demonstrated?
The chapter also discusses investing in self. You also mentioned this as well. Do you know how this manager has invested in themselves?
