Directions: As a team you will complete a 2-part final assignment. Part 3 is each team member’s personal reflection regarding this co-design experience.
Part 1:
Designing a year-long curriculum learning experience is a best practice to outline the year and have a plan for units of instruction that will take longer or that you anticipate will need more support. Planning early offers the best chance that your scope and sequence will be realized, and allows you to consider and include materials and resources that will support learners and make the learning space engaging, inclusive, and loving of all learners.
As a co-design group, you will make a copy of the Year-Long Curriculum Learning Scope and Sequence TemplateLinks to an external site., and complete the template in its entirety. Note that this is for a full 36-week school year. (For the 4th grade Math or ELA)  You and your co-design partners will decide on a subject, divide the subject into units of planned instruction, and indicate individual lessons under each unit. Feel free to use the IRIS module example as well as the “real world” example as references to help you complete the year-long plan.

What values did you hold as you built this year-long scope and sequence? How are these values reflected in your year-long scope and sequence?
Review the content of your scope and sequence and share how you decided on this content as a collective? What resources, materials, theorists did you consider as you included the content?
What did you learn as a collective in building this scope and sequence as a co-designing TLC?
All TLC members should be a part of designing and delivering the presentation.
