Prior to beginning work on this assignment, read Chapter 8: Requirements Modeling—A Recommended Approach (Sections 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, & 8.6). Before you begin this assignment, you should complete your interactive assignment homework problems, as it will assist you with concepts in this assignment.
In this week’s assignment, you will add to your concept map that you created in Weeks 1, 2, and 3 and further illustrate and make connections among the concepts of requirements modeling. This week’s section of the concept map is focused on class-based methods.
Class-responsibility-collaborator (CRC) modeling provides the means for identifying and organizing the classes that are relevant to system and product requirements. The guidelines for identifying responsibilities (i.e., attributes and operations) have been presented in Section 8.3.2. There are five guidelines for allocating responsibilities to classes. Be sure to label each component, then
List each of the five responsibilities.
Describe each of the five responsibilities.
Summarize the associations and dependencies in Section 8.3.3 to explain the relationships as shown in Figure 8.4.
In addition to your concept map, you will write a paper in which you
Explain the list of responsibilities in details.
Explain the multiplicity and dependencies relationships shown in Figure 8.4 using the UML notation.
Summarize (briefly) the alignment between your concept map and elements within your paper.
Your paper must be a minimum of 400 words.
