In Unit 5, you will create a video demonstration of yourself preparing an item featured on the website MyPlate from scratch to finish. You will need to video your entire presentation using Screencastify® or a similar tool. The video should be a minimum of 4 minutes. Professional attire and language should be modeled.
Assignment Checklist:
Submit the video link, including the script of your video production.
Video requirements:
Introduce the recipe and each ingredient for your chosen food item.
Describe and show all measurements of each ingredient.
Demonstrate and explain the preparation steps and cooking instructions.
Share and examine the nutrition labels, discussing three nutrition facts of the recipe.
Your script must include an introduction and conclusion and be a minimum of 500 words using an 11- or 12-point sans serif font such as Ariel. Additionally, you must include a reference page, and your references and citations must use the current APA format and citation style. Reference your course textbook and at least one additional reliable and/or scholarly source.
Submit your completed assignment to the Unit 5 Assignment Dropbox. Assignments are due Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. ET of their assigned unit.
