Book: Theatre the Lively Art by Wilson, Geigner and Goldfarb
TheatreWeek 2 – What is Theatre
This is your first academic post. These are considered a major part of your grade. Make sure to always make your first post by Friday, and responses by Tuesday. A few guidelines:
1. Your initial post must show me that you have read the chapter and notes. If your post does not demonstrate your learned knowledge, you will loss points. Treat each post like a written report.
2. Ask yourself, could I have written this before taking this class? If the answer is yes, you likely need to work more course material into the post.
3. When responding to classmates, make sure you are adding to the discussion. A discussion goes back and forth. You are required to discuss theater and your experiences with the class.
As you read through the first two chapters, you were introduced to two different groups; the people who put on a play, and those that watch it. Using the text, prepare a post in which you explore the difference between these two different groups.
