Build Your Personal or Virtual Assistant (or other) Website
Part One (4 marks)
Based on the lecture on this topic, and you previous lectures in this course on design, create your site plan in Powerpoint
• This is often referred to as an SOW or scope of work.
• You need a site map, (or plan) before you start building your website
• This is so you can share your design with other stakeholders, like clients or boss
• Typically, you will get your stakeholders to formally sign your site plan, (again, more generally called a scope of work).
• You site plan should include a brief description of your branding and purpose. In this part you should include at least one image that represents your brand.
• You should also include the number and type of each page, a plan for navigation, (toolbars), along with placeholders for text, images video and/or links to them
• ASSIGNMENT OPTION, build a site for your own Virtual OA business or a business of your choice! This video will explain more about being a virtual assistant, (offering your own office admin services from your home office)
• Note: you don’t need to take her course! This content is delivered in executive procedures 1
• Now you have a plan for your site and the rest will be fun and easy!
• Upload your Visio plan to the dropbox any time prior to your presentation
• Build your site

Submit your website link to the dropbox. You can just put it in the dropbox notes.
MAKE SURE YOUR SITE IS Accessible. For google sites, be sure to give your instructor permission to open the document!
