During your clinical rotations, you may be required to present a brief lecture during the Anesthesiology/OR department’s “monthly meeting” or Morbidity & Mortality Conference. As  an exercise in preparedness, this assignment requires you to compose a prerecorded Voice-Over PowerPoint presentation describing the pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical features, and diagnostic testing utilized for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 1 and       Type 2.  Also include in your discussion include current or novel treatment modalities for     this syndrome
Multiple online references exist regarding Complex Regional Pain Syndromes. You also will find additional resources on the Barry University Library website, where you have full access to the Access Medicine and Anesthesiology e-book collections to search this topic for your presentation. 
This is meant to be an independent (individual) project and to give you experience researching anesthesia topics independently. I will not be lecturing on this material but rather want you to demonstrate your ability to teach-the-teacher on this subject and illustrate your creativity in creating presentations. 
Project requirements:
You are required to use PowerPoint for your presentation
Number of content slides should be between:  10 -12 Voice-over (voice recording) slides 
MAXIMUM voice-over length of the recording is 10 minutes (Content beyond the 10-minute limit WILL NOT be reviewed, this is a required part of learning to clearly articulate and succinctly present educational topics to your peers in the time limit provided)
Maximum of 14 slides that include a title slide, and a reference slide (reference slide needs to be APA 7th edition format). 
Every student has free access to MS Office 365 PowerPoint with your Barry University tuition, and a key point of this exercise is to get you familiar with utilizing MS PowerPoint for presentations and creating voice-over presentations.
Utilize PowerPoint slides to summarize your talking points (use the 6-6-6 rule for PowerPoint slides, there are multiple YouTube videos and articles online that describe this idea.  6-words per bullet point, 6-bullets points per slide, or 6-word slides in a row followed by some type of picture or graphic element).
Have fun with this project and make it a professional product that you would be proud to present to your fellow anesthesia colleagues.
