I live outside the city, so I take our solid waste to a dumpster site where it is then collected by a waste management company. I don’t have to separate our solid waste prior to disposal. I don’t think my city uses recycling, composting, waste-to-energy, or other beneficial processes. I’ve never visited our city landfill so I’m unable to describe it.
