(PART 1) Evaluate the quality of the report.:
Part 1 (approx. 500 words)
In the first part of the EMA, you should introduce the report and critically examine its quality using learning introduced during the module such as the PROMPT criteria. You are not describing the content of the report but giving your assessment of whether it is a good report in terms of showing whether the service is making a difference.
(PART 2) Critically discuss how the different research methods and kinds of data mentioned in the report are used to evaluate services and/or practices:
Part 2 (approx. 800 words)
In Part 2, you should critically discuss the methods and types of data that were collected and referred to in the report. Discuss some of the strengths and limitations of different approaches to evaluation that are being demonstrated in the report, making connections and comparisons with other methods of evaluation that you have been introduced to. You can also be critical of the way the report evaluates the service, again drawing on your knowledge from the module
(PART 3) Identify issues raised in the report and discuss how they relate to the wellbeing of children and young people, drawing on your learning from KE206.:
Part 3 (approx. 1200 words)
The report focuses on issues that relate to families and children. You should briefly identify some of the key issues within the report, and then show your understanding of how these issues relate to children or young people’s wellbeing, drawing on your learning from across the module.Start by discussing wellbeing more generally (which may include use of Topic 1: Wellbeing), then use your knowledge and understanding of the module to make specific links to two other topics (i.e. from relationships, society, health, learning, safety, rights, identity, or culture) and consider these two topics in more detail.
Conclusion (approx. 250 words)
As you have done with your TMAs, use a brief conclusion that draws all key points together to ensure that all parts of the EMA question have been fully addressed.
