Overview As a graphic designer, you realize that the visual design of your portfolio site is extremely important. One of the most critical visual content pieces of a website is the hero image on the Home page. It’s the first thing your visitors will see, and it sets the tone for their entire experience. You can choose to use a single image or multiple images and graphics to create components like a collage or carousel for the hero image area of your portfolio site. In addition, you will also need to create some images and graphics that you can use in other areas of the portfolio site. For example, you may want to use a different hero image for different pages, or you may want some graphics and icons to use in the body of the webpages. You can create and use various types of images and graphics for your portfolio site, such as photos, previous design work, abstract images, background images, patterns, and so forth. However, keep in mind that any visual content you create for your portfolio site should reflect your values, skills, and personality as a designer. In this activity, you will create visual content for your portfolio site. You will add these images and graphics to your portfolio site in later modules to help complete the project in Module Seven. Determine how you will use each of these images and graphics on your portfolio site. A. Include the name and the header image requirements of the theme you selected in Module Two. B. Identify the page(s) they will be used on. C. Identify where and how they will be placed, such as a profile photo for the body of the About Me page. 5. Explain what the different images and graphics you created say about you as a graphic designer.
